Identification Resources
General
If you need help identifying a flower frog and haven't found it in the collections presented on this website or through the resources listed below, you are welcome to write to me. However, I am not an expert on all flower frogs and also make these suggestions:
- There is only one book on flower frogs, Flower Frogs for Collectors by Bonnie Bull, 2001. It is out of print, but used copies may be purchased on eBay and from online booksellers. While it doesn't identify every flower frog – no single book could – it is a must for any serious collector.
- There are two Facebook groups that are a lot of fun and whose members are very helpful in identifying flower frogs, Flower Frogs and Flower Frog Collectors.
Whether sending photos to me or posting them in a Facebook group, whenever possible include a minimum of three photos showing top, side, and bottom views.
I find identifying flower frogs as much fun as collecting them, and that's what led me to help others by sharing what I have learned on this website.
